Please visit the Shelter during viewing hours to see if we have a pet you might be interested in adopting.
We suggest you spend some time with the pet that you select to ensure that it is the right one for you. We provide an area where you can spend some time visiting with your future pet. If you are considering adopting a dog, you may choose to take it for a walk. We also recommend that you and all your family members meet your potential pet to check for compatibility including any other pets that you may have.
If you are still unsure as to whether the pet is right for you and your family, you may wish to consider “Taking a Test Drive” where you can have the pet for a few days so the pet can briefly live with you before you complete the final adoption process. The adoption fees are refundable if you are not able to proceed.
Adoption Fees
Cats
Males or Females: $80.00 Some of our Cats are currently available at a reduced fee
Note: Microchip and registration now included for all adopted cats
All of our Cats are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, except for young kittens who are not yet old enough where other arrangements may be made.
Dogs:
Males or Females: $195.00
The adoption fees for all dogs includes the following:
- Spay/Neuter
- Initial vaccinations
- Deworming
- Rabies shot
- Microchip & registration
In cases where the dog is not yet spayed or neutered (e.g. puppies who are not yet old enough) an additional $50 is payable at adoption time, with this being refunded in full upon satisfactory proof that the animal has been spayed or neutered.
Please note that after final adoption, the fees are non-refundable.
