Tilley is a sweet and wonderful lady, always ready for whatever love that you choose to give! She gets along with people of all ages, and you will never leave feeling unwelcomed. She has a wonderful temperament and quite a bit of energy for a lady of her years, leaving her with very positive prospects for a new home!

Tilley does not like cats, and should not be placed in a home where they are around. She also believes in lots of exercise and will sometimes take herself for walks if she is not in a properly fenced yard. She is classified as a senior, but you would never guess it by watching her in action.

Tilley is a wonderful girl deserving of a second chance. She is a great companion dog and will make anyone feel like the luckiest family in the world to have her around. Come and fall in love with this gal!

THANKS TO SOME KIND SPONSORS, TILLEY`S ADOPTION FEES HAVE BEEN PAID IN FULL!

Bootsy is quite the cute and rambunctious young man. Often he is so joyful that his entire body shakes in a greeting to you. He absolutely adores all attention and would love a family who could give him the exercise that he needs.
Bootsy came to the shelter very nervous of strangers, and fearful of men and children. He has made great strides in this area and is happy to meet everyone, so long as they will pet him.
Bootsy has been both an indoor and outdoor dog. He is very smart and would like to learn everything that are able to teach him. He gets along with other dogs, however cats are an unknown factor. He is a sweet guy, and so ready for the next chapter in his life.

Fudge is a sweet and wonderful girl, one that you will be pleased to know. She is always very excited to meet new people and always appears as if she is trying to jump out of her skin with joy.

Fudge is not a fan of cats or dogs in her space. She likes to think that she is special enough to be the only one in your life & loves the attention! She has lived most of her life outdoors, but is house-trained to make the perfect combination of indoor and outdoor dog.

Fudge is a bigger girl who likes her exercise. She has quite a bit of energy, but is docile when it counts. She would be a great running partner, and will thrive from any attention given her way. She has a very sweet disposition and can`t wait for you to come in and meet her!
Bert, along with his brother Ernie, are as comical as the cartoon characters that they were named for. Bert is the older, and watchful one. Making sure that things are in order, and being sure to let you know when things are not as they should. He loves to give kisses, and is thrilled with all attention. His exuberant greeting usually leads to a few nibbles on your fingers to make sure you realize just how much he loves you!

Bert has been known to chase cats, but has always lived with other small dogs. He would enjoy a home with companionship and has been around elementary school aged children. He loves to run, and would require a fair amount of exercise to keep him happy!

Bert has moved around to a few homes before, through no fault of his own, and would absolutely love to enjoy a permanent place with a family. If you think you can offer this little man his happily ever after, come on in and meet him. We know that he is waiting for you!
Ernie, along with his brother Bert, are as comical as the cartoon characters that they were named after. Ernie is willing to love you to the end of time, unconditionally. He literally cries with excitement when he receives a visit from anyone and is always welcoming to strangers. His pudgy little self can`t resist doing attempting to wash your face for you, in attempt to make everything all better.

Ernie seems to be a great all around dog, getting along with cats and dogs alike. We believe that he will be great around children of all ages, providing that they don`t mind being washed by his tongue now and then.

Ernie simply can`t wait for his forever family to come and find him so that he can shower them with love and attention. This little guy is so welcoming, you won`t believe your good fortune in finding such a wonderful addition to your family. Come to the shelter and meet this wonderful little boy who is so desperate to give away all of his love if you will only let him.

Hunter is a sweet dog, calm and eager to make you happy. He takes his time to get used to new situations, letting himself observe rather than investigate. He enjoys his walks, and does not seem to tire easily.

Hunter is great with other dogs, but loves the companionship of his people most of all. He would rather be with you than anywhere else. He can be a bit of a "barker" when he is left alone, but is not destructive in his ways. He has been with children of all ages, and will make an amazing family addition.

Hunter is eagerly awaiting that place to call home. He does not show the greatest at the shelter, as he tends to be a bit shy and reserved. He takes a little while to warm up to a new person, but nothing helps overcome that barrier, like a walk in the sunshine. Come on in and meet this guy who so desperately is waiting for someone to love him forever!
Black Jack has thus far been the more adventurous puppy. He is the first to investigate new situations, but also is the first to show discomfort with whines and whimpers. He is still growing and learning new things, but it will be up to YOU to mold him into the companion that you would like him to be!
Karl has taken his time to adapt to shelter life, but he is slowly becoming more confident in himself every day. He becomes very excited to see the people he knows, wagging his tail as fast as he possibly can. He has a quirky spirit, one that you just can`t understand until you get to know him.

Karl is taking his time to get used to new people, and doesn`t always make the best first impression, but with proper introductions, he is happy to become anyone`s friend. Karl isn`t a fan of other animals sharing his space, but is more than happy to do anything to make you happy. He needs a bit of time spent with him reviewing his manners and reminding him of proper indoor and outdoor etiquette, but he is definitely worth the effort.

Karl would love to be in a home environment where he can be exercised and treasured for the wonderful guy that he is. His handsome features are quick to catch your attention, and he is more than happy to keep it, if you give him a chance. This beautiful boy will change your life, if you will only let him!

This pretty lady was found on the highway near Pennant. If you know who she belongs to please contact the SPCA at 306-773-1806.

We are still getting to know Kaiser. Please check back later for an updated description!
Poppy is back and better than ever! She is eagerly awaiting her new and permanent home. Poppy has come out of her shell these last few weeks at her foster home and is turning out to be a very happy little girl. Poppy is a lap dog, through and through. She is in love with her foster mom and is content to spend all day sleeping on her lap. She enjoys her walks, although at the moment, she is not a huge fan of the snow.

Poppy, like most typical small dogs, can be a bit yappy when she sees people walking past the house, or when strangers enter the home. She is learning, slowly but surely, that a few soft barks are ok, in order to let everyone know that people are around, but that after everyone has been notified, her job is done. Poppy does not make new friends easily, and takes her time to get to know new people. However, once she has chosen you, she will be devoted to you and only you to the very end. Poppy is comfortable with other dogs and is not intimidated by the larger breeds, but she much prefers human companionship to the canine variety.

Poppy will make the perfect dog for anyone who is wanting a companion for all times. She is crate trained, but much prefers to spend every waking moment with you, because you are literally her whole world and no one else matters. She will always do her best to be your entertainment, tossing her toys around, or emitting little barks when she is so excited that she can`t possibly hold herself to together. She is a sweet little dog, who longs for a home of permanence, where she can be cherished like the sweet little girl that she is!

While Poppy is in foster care, please call the shelter at 306-773-1806 to arrange a time to meet her.

Flap Jack, thus far, has been a quite and a bit more reserved puppy. He hangs back from the group, and looks at new people as if he really doesn`t care if they want to give him attention or not. However, this is far from the truth. Like any puppy, he craves attention and loves new interactions. He has a uniquely spotted coat, which makes him even more of a treasure.
Flap Jack is waiting for his family to mold and shape him into who they want him to be. Come on in and meet him, cuz he might just pick you as his new family!
