AnnualSPCA Adoptathon
We’re so excited to announce the 3rd Annual Adoptathon, hosted in partnership with Dufresne Furniture! Mark your calendars for Sunday, July 20, 2025 from 11am to 3pm at Dufresne (145 2nd Ave NW).
This family-friendly event is packed with fun for everyone! Kids can enjoy the bouncy house, and stop by the donkey kissing booth for a laugh (and a smooch!). You’ll also find a variety of local artisan and food vendors offering unique gifts and tasty treats throughout the day.
One lucky guest will win a Pet Pro washing machine, generously donated by Dufresne, through our event raffle! And of course, the stars of the show, adoptable cats and dogs, will be there, hoping to meet their forever families!

Our June 7, 2025 Microchip Clinic raised $704 for animal welfare in the southwest!

Microchipping is an easy and effective way to identify your pet and increase the chances of being reunited if they get lost! Most vet clinics and animal shelters have universal scanners which can read the identification number of the microchip (about the size of a grain of rice, inserted just under the skin between the shoulder blades), which then connects them to the owner’s contact information.
