The Swift Current SPCA Shelter will be opening to the public on Monday May 25 with a few procedural changes in place to ensure physical distancing and the safety of our guests, staff and pets.
1. Please call ahead to 306-773-1806 for an appointment to visit the shelter. As you likely know, our shelter is very small so we need to control the number of people inside at one time. We will not be able to have more than 4 members of the public in at a time so please limit the number of family members you bring along.
2. Please limit your appointments to essential business – now is not the time to come “just to visit” the pets.
3. Staff will be wearing PPE and we’d ask the public to consider wearing their own masks for their visits to us. Please observe physical distancing of 2 meters inside the shelter as much as possible. Hand sanitizing will be required.
4. We are open to take strays, surrenders and to process adoptions and donations.
5. Public hours will be 10am-5pm Mon-Fri and 10am-4pm on Sat.
