The Eleventh Stray of Christmas is Akasha, a female Maremma X Kangal mix who has been spayed and fully vaccinated. Akasha is about 11 months old and came to us on September 15. As her breeds indicate she has potential as a predator dog for ranches or farms but the personality to make a great family pet for active people. She is loving and silly, puppy like in some ways but coming into her own as a young adult. As an indoor pet she seems to be fine with cats and other dogs, but she will need consistent guidance to make good decisions as she is still a youngster.
