A short time ago, we received a call from SaskEnergy, wanting to apply for a grant where they would receive $500 to use at their discretion , with the stipulation that the work must go towards a charity. Long story short, they picked the SPCA!! So, on Thursday June 5th, the crew from SaskEnergy came out and planted 26 trees and bushes for us!! Not only did they purchase $500 worth of trees from Canadian Tire, but Canadian Tire than kicked in an EXTRA $160 worth of trees! Warren(from SaskEnergy) donated 3 hose so we could water our new trees, and Tammy did all the research and organization into the project itself! And thanks to Delta Rock & Sand, who donated the topsoil for the project. And since there was still some topsoil left over, the crew fixed up our flower beds and pulled a tree stump for us as well!! We can’t say thank you enough to the crew from SaskEnergy for their hardwork, and choosing us for their charity!!!
