Empty Our Shelters

Province-Wide Pet Adoption Event
For the first time ever, animal shelters across Saskatchewan will join forces to find new homes for homeless pets.

Participating Humane Societies and SPCA’s across the province will help hundreds of homeless pets find their happily ever after during an adoption event – Empty Our Shelters- running Friday & Saturday August 19th – 20th, 2016. The adoption event comes at a critical time as shelters reach seasonal capacity.

During the adoption event, Swift Current SPCA cat/kitten adoption fees will be reduced to $45 plus $15 microchip fee plus $90 spay/neuter deposit for unaltered cats (refundable when spay/neuter is completed). Adoptions include primary course of vaccinations, deworming, and rabies vaccination. If you rent your home, the Swift Current SPCA requires consent from your landlord indicating permission to have pets on their properties. The shelter will be open from 12:30-5:30pm both Friday and Saturday.

One province – one goal . . . Join us in this ground breaking event of action to help Empty Our Shelters and give hundreds of homeless animals the chance of a new life.
